“Project
journey”

In 2021, fast casual restaurant the Melt approached Globeateliê ready for a change. Their last brand refresh was more than ten years old, but they had a great product and amazing team ready to take advantage of strong post-pandemic interest in their classic burger and fries.
In addition to evolving their look, the Melt planned to grow, and requested help developing efficiencies in their restaurant design, from scalable FFE to streamlined kitchen and back-of-house engine.

Chapter 02

“Ga approach”

Over the past two years, Globeateliê developed a completely new concept for the Melt.
We translated this concept into a clean and repeatable set of standardized documents, sourced finishes and furnishings for all restaurants opening in 2022-2023, and helped the Melt open in new and challenging locations including West Hollywood and Folsom CA.

Attention to
details:

Each Melt location features unique local elements including reclaimed wood and custom murals, but they all project the same brand image that perfectly aligns with the delicious menu offerings.

Chapter 03

“Conclusion”

As the Melt continues to grow their fleet, we maintain a strong partnership with them – producing new location test fits and construction documents, supporting with permitting and OSM procurement, and beyond.
We firmly believe that our work only begins with design; as brand advocates, we strive to make sure that the concept is correctly implemented, that it works at scale, and that it continues to work operationally over time.
