Chapter 01

“Project
journey”

Gâ supported the Global Levi’s Store Design and Development team in the creation of existing store drawings as well as the schematic design, design development, and construction drawings. This project was executed entirely in Revit, based on the Global Revit Masters template, which was also created by Gâ. What is more, the Brand engaged us to lead efforts on their high-profile flagship store at Madison Avenue. We supported the Client's internal team for design development, scheduling and budgeting. We were trusted advisor for the management of the general contractor, owner's vendors and the Landlord and successfully accompanied the Brand to the project Handover.

Apart from the design activities, Gâ acted as a strategic partner, reviewing project performance, identifying improvement areas, and using lessons learned to enhance future project efficiency and quality as part of the Project Delivery Efficiency (PDE) initiative.

Chapter 01

“Ga approach”

Gâ holistically managed the project, observing and reporting potential improvement areas related to roles and responsibilities, as well as optimizing the project process. Our local presence allowed us to closely monitor site activities and report critical issues in a timely manner.

Sustainability
& Resilience

Furthermore, Gâ served as the sustainability advisor for the project, suggesting concrete design and construction interventions to enhance store performance and reduce environmental impact.

Some of these interventions included energy and water efficiency measures, lighting optimizations, waste management strategies, and maintenance initiatives to improve the wellbeing of the store and its occupants.

Key insights

Coordination and clear roles and responsibilities are fundamental for managing high-profile global projects. Instruments such as the Bill of Quantities, master project schedule, and clear communications, and RASCI protocols were essential for an efficient project execution.

Through fact-finding discussions, we tracked processes identified pain points, and worked to provide action-focused recommendations for all future Levi’s projects.

“ I want to thank the team at Globeateliê for their leadership, guidance, and expertise in helping execute this project”

Chapter 03

“Conclusion”

Project insights captured by Globeateliê will be used in our continued collaborate with Levi’s, to optimize the global design and construction processes and refine best practices globally.
Having robust protocols, reference documents, and clearly defined responsible parties can provide global benefits in terms of cost reduction and timeline optimization.
